Retired Member

Member has been an AVDC Diplomate for greater than 10 years and is 65 years old or older.

Retired Member status no longer require annual dues, but retired member status has no voting privilege and is not listed on the Find a Diplomate section of the Website.

If a Diplomate is under 65 and wishes to apply for Retired Member Status the following must be fulfilled to waive annual dues:

Be fully retired, meaning that the Diplomate has verified that they are no longer practicing veterinary dental related services within a clinical setting, industry, research, or academia.

If there is a return to practicing veterinary dental related services prior to the age of 65, then a re-instatement fee of $500 and payment of current year's regular member annual dues are required.
